Before joining the GRRR family, three-year-old Lucky had been tied to a tree his entire life. When he arrived at GRRR he had hardly any hair, was extremely skinny and had no social skills. On top of that he had a bout with his kidneys and liver which we weren’t sure he would survive. His sad and scared expression was heartbreaking.
Now, because of the unwavering love and generosity of the GRRR faithful who helped pay for his diagnostic tests and medication, he is doing very well and has a wonderful new family. We’re sure he wakes up every morning, and says to himself, “Wow, it’s not just a dream. This really is my new home!”
